肿瘤中心放疗科学科带头人,临床肿瘤学(放疗)博士,主任医师,肿瘤中心放疗科主任。
从事肿瘤放化疗临床及基础研究近30余年,诊治恶性肿瘤病人6000例。擅长综合运用与世界同步的先进放疗技术:三维适形放疗(3D-CRT)、三维适形调强放疗(IMRT)、图像引导下的调强放疗(Image-Guided Radiation Therapy, IGRT)、快速弧度治疗(RapidArc or VMAT)、生物调强放疗(Biological Modulated Radiation Therapy,BMRT)、同期放化疗(Concurrent Chemoradiotherapy,CCRT)、自适应治疗(Adaptive Treatment)、PET-CT或CR引导下的强化治疗技术(Intensification of Radiation Therapy)等治疗鼻咽癌、肺癌、食管癌、宫颈癌、乳腺癌、胃癌等各种肿瘤。肿瘤疗效(有效率、局部控制率、总生存率和无病生存率)名列国内一流,跻身国际先进水平。另外,擅长也难治性肿瘤(如术后复发、化疗无效或者进展恶化的、淋巴结转移、肿瘤巨大)的诊治,绝大部分病人亦能取得满意疗效,许多原本绝望中的病人获得根治。
(1)国内最早在国际最高水平肿瘤大会ASTRO(American Society for Radiation Oncology,ASTRO)口头报告学术论文专家;上海及国内极少数在国际肿瘤会议ASTRO口头报告科学论文3次及以上的学者;(2)上海和国内综合性医院中,论文首次评为Best of ASTRO的获得者,代表国际最高水平。该论文作为国际肿瘤学最新研究成果在全球巡讲,包括国内上海站、北京站和成都站,扩大我国放射肿瘤学在国际上的影响。(3)世界上首次发现,应用现代先进放疗技术及同期放化疗治疗不能手术胃癌患者,疗效与手术类似,无手术相关并发症,患者生活质量高,推翻闻名世界梅奥医学中心(Mayo Clinic)和美国胃肠肿瘤研究组(Gastrointestinal Tumor Study Group,GITSG)早期临床研究结果,为胃癌患者提供另一个有效治疗方法,研究结果发表在国际最权威放疗专业期刊红皮杂志(Red Journal)。(4)世界上最早(2004年)发现,放化疗后肺癌外周血循环肿瘤细胞水平与预后密切相关,论文被国际文献大量引用近200次,为我国单篇论文被引用次数最多放疗论文之一,该发现近年来被国际许多研究所证实。(5)正在进行4项国际注册的治疗新方法研究,初步研究结果显示肿瘤疗效较标准治疗有显著提高。
国内外权威期刊《lung cancer》,《Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys》,《中华肿瘤杂志》,《中华放射肿瘤学杂志》等发表论文20篇,论文被引用近300次;编写专著一部。
